This site started as a New Year's resolution to write something that rhymed every day for a year.

I had no idea how difficult that was going to be and it cost me up to 2 hours a night, sometimes more.

I managed the first six months and then had to let it slide ... I just wasn't writing stuff I was happy enough with to just keep pumping it out.

Now I just collect words I find lying around, stick them into my phone, and when I get enough I try to stick them together in a plausible or even pleasing configuration. 

Of course my time would probably be better spent learning Cantonese, or reaching enlightenment, or getting a really cool three ball single hand juggling routine going, or riding my unicyle... but that would mean getting out of my chair...
